Chapter 6: Digital Technologies in the Classroom

After reading chapter 6, I would prefer to teach in a classroom that had more digital technologies. There are many different technologies available that can adapt to students' learning needs. For example, the touch screen is a great way to help younger students with working on a computer. Many children have difficulty with handling a mouse and keys, so instead they can use the touch screen. The electronic whiteboard is also a tool that I would like to incorporate into my classroom. I like how all of the information that was written or drawn on it, can be saved to a computer file or even shared via the internet. These technologies make teaching a lot more convenient, therefore allowing more time to help students learn.
